WISDOM as part of the rover&#8217;s payload is scheduled for launch in 2028.<\/p><p>The main objective of this mission is to find proof of past or present life on Mars. Moreover, investigations regarding the existence of an atmosphere, including oxide, will be performed.<\/p><p>Among others, the WISDOM instruments as part of the rover discovering Mars\u2019 surface will<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>characterize the surface as well as the subsoil of Mars<\/li><li>define regions on Mars which shall be observed in detail together with other experiments<\/li><li>take samples of Mars\u2019 soil<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>The WISDOM electronic unit enabling the aforementioned tasks has been developed in a close Franco-German cooperation between LAP (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/astrophy.u-bordeaux.fr\/en\/\">Laboratoire d\u2019Astrophysique de Bordeaux<\/a><\/span>, France) and LATMOS (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latmos.ipsl.fr\/index.php\/en\/component\/content\/?id=2549:presentation&amp;catid=98:introduction&amp;Itemid=1602\">Laboratoire Atmosph\u00e8res, Milieux, Observations Spatiales<\/a><\/span>, France), building the WISDOM electronic unit, as well as TUD (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tu-dresden.de\">University of Technology Dresden<\/a><\/span>, Germany), responsible for the antenna design.<\/p><p>WISDOM is supported financially by CNES (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cnes.fr\/en\">Centre National d\u2019\u00e9tudes spatiales<\/a><\/span>, France) and BMWi (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwi.de\/Navigation\/EN\/Home\/home.html\">Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Wirtschaft und Energie<\/a><\/span>) in cooperation with DLR (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dlr.de\/EN\/Home\/home_node.html\">German Aerospace Center<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
